Wow, thanks for all the responses! Yes, it seems it's a wonderful design by
Joan Appel from the 80s. I hope I find the time to fold it today - but
here's a followup question: is Joan still part of the community and can
someone help me get in touch with her? I think it'd be fun to revive such a
wonderful design and perhaps feature it in a video. I love finding these
almost lost gems of design.
