One of the members of my local group is a physics teacher, he does a lot of
work with long strips of ribbon tape but lately he's been working with the
effects that light produces on folded models out of cellophane when seen
through a pollarized filter. He calls it "optic origami". You can watch a

Sorry if this seems like a repeated message, but it is not. Earlier I sent
a message announcing that I had uploaded pictures from the Colombian
convention (among which this video is included) but maybe some people on
this list couldn't care less about photos from a convention but are
interested in this type of things such as "optic origami", hence I am
sending this separate email.
