Hey guys, I hope you are doing great.
Can you do me a favor? I need a single step scanned from different diagrams. I'm tryng to explain a particular fold that's very common in different models -usually from practical or geometric origami- and I want to exemplify it by showing that step in diagrams from different models. This fold I'm talking about, you can make it when you have a series of vertical rectangular walls that make a complete "circle". Each wall is divided by a diagonal valley crease between the same opposite corners. The walls are then folded down and twisted following the diagonal crease marks. Examples of this step can be seen in: -"Spring into Action" by Jeff Beynon as seen in different books. -"Triple Spiral Cube" by Jun Maekawa in Genuine Geometric Origami Vol 2 -"Hourglass" by Yuri Shumakov in Origami Journal (Russia) 2000 No. 3 -"Fujimoto cube" by Shuzo Fujimoto in Origami for the Connoisseur by Kunihuku kasahara and Toshie Takahama -"Twist box" by David MartÃnez. (Leyla Torres made a video showing how to fold it but I don't know if there are diagrams). -Different containers by Chris Palmer. -A masu box that is flattened by twisting the walls in order to turn it into a coin purse (I saw a video of this once but I don't know if there are diagrams of this). It would be awesome if you scan that step from the official diagrams of the models I've just mentioned, but you can also send me that same step from diagrams of other models I don't know about. Ok? But it's important that they come from diagrams, not photo-diagrams, videos, or others and that they come from the official diagrams of the model. Ok? If you agree on helping me out, you can send me the image attached to a message sent to gerardo(a)neorigami.com In that case, please include in the scanned image the number of the step and text (if it does includes text) and please tell me the name of the model and creator as shown in the diagrams, as well as the name of the book and its author or of the magazine issue and its volume and number. I really appreciate it : ) Thanks in advance!
