Dear Dawn, Re < suggestions for two action models
Here is one suggestion. Kids and I like the 'kissing lips' action model, although for that age I would suggest calling it 'talking mouth' to avoid the yuk response. It's all right isosceles triangles (*not* diaper fold), with one scalene triangle (this sentence is for you, Mark Kennedy). I have folded it with classes of gr. 4 and gr. 8 students (in under 30', with kids helping each other) and both levels liked it. Will send you photos. Hope you're well.
