----- This reminds me that when I taught this model in a public venue, I
noticed while practicing at home, that you end up with the short end
hanging down in the area where you can accidentally stab yourself with it
when you pick up the flower. So when I taught it, I made a point of having
them fold that short end up so it would point up and lay inside the flower
once the petals had been shaped and positioned. I never thought about
anyone using it as a weapon. Keeping them off the table is a good idea, as
is turning the bottom end up.
