Hi all, A colleague of mine told me about this website www.efilipov.com<http://www.efilipov.com/> . E. Filipov is a PhD student in Civil Engineering that with Tomohiro Tachi and Paulino have created origami designs with special structural properties.
They have published in a publication of the National Academy of Sciences. They presented at 6OSME last year, but I did not attend. They mention Miura ori in connection with their 3d structures. It seems remarkable. Rona
