Hi all. I've just come back from The Nature In Art Museum just outside Gloucester, England where I've been helping set up the origami exhibition there opening tomorrow (Oct 13th) for 4 weeks (closes Sun Nov 8th) organised jointly by the BOS and the NIA museum. It's titled "In The Fold - Origami inspired by Nature" and features origami from the UK, Europe and round the world. I may be biased... but it looks MAGNIFICENT! Thanks to all the folders who have so generously donated their work for this exhibition (I will be thanking you personally!), including those who brought along their works to the recent BOS convention, and others who posted or even hand-delivered their precious origami masterpieces to me or the museum. Thanks too to Dave Brill & Mick Guy who helped set up the exhibition today. I’ve put a few photos on the BOS Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/bosfb and my own Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/tony.ohare.12 to give you a taster. See www.natureinart.org.uk - open Tues-Sun. Great setting too, in a stately home in the glorious Gloucestershire countryside just off the A38 now taken run by a charitable trust as a museum devoted to the art in nature! Highly recommended for a visit. There are also other exhibitions running at the same time including a stunning selection of photos from the British Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Also a nice cafe and shop on site. Cheers Tony
