I would like to teach a basic origami course (same students over many
weeks). I want them to get the diagrams they need and also be sure the
authors get compensation, and I think requiring the purchase of a book is
the best way to do this.

I already have a few books I really love. They are small, all Japanese,
very well drawn, about 300 pages, have LOTS of simple models including
traditionals, BUT, they are about 20 years old and out of print.

I am asking the community for suggestions of similar books that are in
print now so they can be ordered for the class. I'm including a few links
and ISBNs if you're unfamiliar with these particular books I have.

Please let me know if you have any ideas. I practiced my first skills with
these books, and would love to know what today's in print equivalent is.

Thanks,

Scott Macri
