I buy online, at the local Michael's* and in JapanTown** in San Francisco. *Michael's is a chain of craft supply stores in the US. At first glance, Michael's appears to be loaded with plastic flowers and assorted do-dads but a closer look reveals an amazing array of quality products mixed in with lots of junk. The Ukiah, California store has a wonderful assortment of beautiful papers from Japan. I do not know if this is true of all Michael's stores. **Japantown is a neighborhood in San Francisco with Japanese grocery stores, stationary stores, cafes and much more.
