Hi there,

in August, I went to Vienna for a weekend of folding, and Anna showed me
how to fold her newest design: a box with lid from a single sheet of paper.
It looks somewhat similar to the box and lid designed by Dave Brill
(tutorial: http://www.happyfolding.com/instructions-brill-box_and_lid ),
but is much easier to fold and requires less paper. Plus, it works from
different rectangles. So I asked Anna whether I could make a video tutorial
for it and see agreed!

And because I had a couple of tips to share, I decided to make an
additional video sharing some of those, too. Tips range from paper
suggestions to tips on slightly varying the folding sequence to achieve a
more prominent color change or getting a perfectly square (i.e. cubic) box.

Anna has also drawn diagrams for the box, which you can find here:

Thanks again to Anna for her permission to make this tutorial available to
you, and also her ingenious design, which may make it my go-to box model if
I'm in a pinch. :)

Have a great weekend and happy folding,

-- Sara
