On Thu, Jul 14, 2016 at 5:17 PM, I requested the help of fellow folders for an annual event at my local community centre in Carcassonne, France.
The doors will open tomorrow (at the time I'm writing this), I'm saying a huge Thank You to all the people who sent something. You are awesome paperfolders across the planet. I love you. We gathered over 800 folded mice, contributed by around 40 folders and developed over twenty years (my guess) by about 30 creators. The non-folder people around me, who witnessed the arrival of the parcels, were positively impressed by these simple facts. The generosity of the paper folding community, the tight link between folders, their readiness to jump into a game, the immense variety of possibilities to create a paper mouse (we do have here 30 different species), to say nothing of the variety of papers. Again, a big thank you, this has been a superb experience, and they just have to open the doors tomorrow for more fun.
