Hello Everyone, I am an origami hobbyist from Chicago. I want to open an origami club within my community. I want to ask the origami models' creators for permission to teach other people. How can I contact them? Here is a list of the models I plan to choose from to teach.
Models: =================== Hi Wenyi- Congrats on starting a new club. Perhaps you are aware there are at least 2 Origami groups in Chicago including a new one June Yamasaki is starting. Contacting those groups through the Origami USA website will be a good start. Regarding contacting creators, unless you are charging $$ to teach these models, you can share with friends. The last part, getting the list members to do your homework for you may not be as easy. Your list contained models by lots of creators. I could probably tell you who created what, but then you wouldn't learn how to find out what you want to know. Perhaps you might want to refine your list a bit and add the names of some of the creators and then contact them through their publishers. How did you learn the models? Go back to the websites you used to find diagrams, then after you have done your due diligence, then perhaps ask for additional help... Happy learning Mary
