A toot and a trio

I recently attended a chamber concert of the Mobius Trio at the Morton
Arboretum. The Mobius Trio has made it its mission to fully integrate the
classical guitar into the 21st century’s nascent musical lexicon. They inspired
me to create a “Triple Twisting Mobius Strip” and one that is substantially
different from any other mobius creation.

This creation has been folded uncut from a 7.5 foot rectangle and includes :

Three intersecting rings

Three different methods of twisting

Three full 180 degree twists

The Trio generously gave recognition to my creation on their Facebook page:

This coming August I will be displaying about 25 to 50 of my creations at the
Indian-Prairie Public Library for the Entire Month of August. Serendipitously,
Kevin and Jennifer Box will be presenting their work at the Morton Arboretum
from April to October. If you plan to see the Kevin Box fantastic exhibit and
want to make a 20-minute drive to see my work, then let me know. I will send
you directions. Alternatively, if you want to meet me at the Morton Arboretum
at any time during the Kevin Box exhibit, I would be willing to try to act as
personal guide to the wonders of the Arboretum. I have been a member of the
Morton Arboretum for more than 20 years. Please let me know when you might
attend and I will let you know if I can be of assistance and possibly, if
desired , where to meet me in the Arboretum.
