I am a self taught folder who does mostly modular origami. I've moved to a community that does not have any origami presence but I've managed to interest both the local Council on Aging and the Center for the Arts. I could use help designing a program of modulars that I could teach that would allow participants to leave feeling successful while adding skills.
I figure I'm not the first person to do this and thought I'd ask for any experience. My ultimate goal is to develop interest and local skill to create a team to run a program like I've attended at MIT's Sunday community folding. For the Council on Aging I thought I'd start with rings and stars but would appreciate help as to a good order to order. The Center for the Arts program needs to be deeper and move faster. I was thinking of Sonobe and variations as an introductory course, incorporating various bases throughout as skill development. Thanks for any suggestions. Andrea
