Tutorial: Ice Cream Cone by Mizutama This month's tutorial shows you how to fold a quick and easy ice cream cone designed by Mizutama. It can also double as a kid wearing a party hat if you rotate it! Diagrams are published in the book "Hello Origami" by Mizutama. It includes plenty of fun and easy designs, which can be personalised with a secret message or a bit of doodling. Folding "Hope for Peace" by Melina Hermsen While attending the German Origami Convention two weeks ago, Melina Hermsen showed us how to fold her model "Hope for Peace", a crane within a cluster of chaotic folds. I gave it another go back at home and recorded the process. This video includes no talking and no speed-ups, so if you enjoy simply watching someone fold, this is perfect for you. It can also serve as a guide to fold your own "Hope for Peace". And the world can use a lot of extra peace, especially in the light of recent events... I do hope this video brings at least a bit of peace to those watching.
