Hi Louise,
I fold stone paper some times, e.g. for vessels and masks.
As wrote Anne, I use stone paper ("Steinpapier") by Boesner an Modulor
(Germany) in three Grammage: 420, 240 and 192 g/sqm. 420 stone paper feels as
250 g/sqm normal paper. 240 stone paper feels as 120 g/sqm normal paper.
The best is to fold each crease once only! For this I prefold each crease in
the right direction. Than I collapse the paper to the final model if possible
in once. Other wise I use a blow-dryer, especialy for 420 stone paper. The best
is to warm up each crease or connected creases for a fold (e.g. petal fold).
I fold some masks for a concert house in Berlin last month in this way:

To soften 420 stone paper you can use "wet folding": lie the piece in boiling
hot water.
