Gerardo asked regarding teaching folding in thirds.I have always used the “s” method, making the landmarks only on a single edge.It’s the quickest and of course doesn’t require putting unwanted creases across the paper.Yes, some people learning the method for the first time may have trouble, but have them practice.If you are teaching a model that needs folded in thirds,do the practicing before starting the model itself.
