Gerardo asked regarding teaching folding in thirds.I have always used the “s” 
method, making the landmarks only on a single edge.It’s the quickest and of 
course doesn’t require putting unwanted creases across the paper.Yes, some 
people learning the method for the first time may have trouble, but have them 
practice.If you are teaching a model that needs folded in thirds,do the 
practicing before starting the model itself.

Also if you are folding a modular model, and the modules need to start with 
folding in thirds, use your first sheet, fold it in thirds accurately, and then 
use that sheet as a template for all the other sheets.
