Hi all ... A friend of mine just gave me a couple of origami books she found in her mother's things.
One, at least by the Google translate on my phone (which is not so that great, I've found), is called "New Introduction to Creative Origami" and is by (possibly edited by) Creative Origami Group 67. I think it was published in 1967/68. There is a list of 9 people in the back Kasahara, Kawahata, Sonobe, Takahama among them. The book is a western style book, paperback, and has four pictures on the front: some red flowers, the birds, a house and out buildings with trees and chickens and the fourth is a different building, trees and some traditional pigs. Most of the models are simple, but there are a couple that I haven't ever seen. The second book is possibly older, I can't find anything that looks like dates in it. It is a Japanese style book. The paperback cover is pinks and reds and has line drawings of rabbits on the front, and a bird on the back. There is also a bird in a circle with "KIN-ENSHA" written under it. There are some four color good pages with drawings of models in the beginning of the book. The title seems to be "New Origami 100" and it says "Kanozen Company Edition" under that. Again, it seems to be all traditional or simple models. Just curious if anyone knows of these books. Thanks!! Dee
