on her social media.

Ekaterina explains that her geometric tessellations are created from flat
sheets of paper, incarnating the transformation of flat and plain surface
to complex and structured object. Each design is not only a beautiful
ornament, but has (invisible to the viewer) engineering process behind it.

In tomorrow's session Kate will talk about inspiration and approaches to
origami design. We will also get a chance to look into the artist's studio
and a bit about her process of drawing origami crease patterns and her
experience with using scoring machines.
She will also take questions from the participants.
