To many of you, there is no need to introduce Mick Guy from UK. But for those who aren’t acquainted with him, I can tell you that Mick Guy is a retired mechanical engineer who lives in Smethwick, England, and is one of the founder members of the British Origami Society in 1967.
Mick is also a founder member of the legendary Portfolio, a box that circulated for years, bringing origami models, diagrams and notes to other members and friends of the BOS who, in turn, added their creations to keep it around. In this conversation with Laura Rozenberg, director of the Museo del Origami in Colonia, Mick will talk about the early days of the BOS, the Portfolio, and his passion for puzzles and other compositions that he smartly creates with origami units. The interview is in English and it has Spanish subititles. https://en.museodelorigami.org/videoteca-agosto-2020 <https://en.museodelorigami.org/videoteca-agosto-2020> Enjoy, Laura
