I've got another live course on tessellations coming up and registration is closing in a few days so I can send out the paper packs in time to start.
Tessellations by Tiles is designed to teach beginner/intermediate tessellation folders the common (and less common) structures that are used in origami tessellations so they can fold whatever patterns they want from crease patterns or photos and create their own variations and designs. This is for the folder who has the paper, tools, and books to fold tessellations but lacks the skills to complete beautiful finished folds.
Instruction will take place in 24 weekly live workshops, 12 office hour sessions, and 3 bonus one-off workshops over 6 months. All workshops will be recorded, with recordings from this and past sessions available to students forever in the class portal along with tools and instructions for diagramming, instructions and template files for purchasing acrylic frames, and a growing collection of crease patterns (already over 50!).
Students will also have lifetime access to a private discussion group and future repetitions of the live course, and each student will receive a paper pack including four sizes of hexagon cutting templates and a bonus of your choice (yes, internationally too).
