Yep..this is what we are considering.

Well, in all honesty, this isnt such a fair example. Maybe saying if they
got killed or something, or gave up on it. But a week or two..I doubt
you'll find too many companies, if any, that will fix a bug and release an
update that quickly. That just doesnt happen. I can tell you from working
at a large company, even if we fixed the bug right away, its doubtful we
would post a small update the same day unless it was a MAJOR problem many
were calling in on. In general, service packs come out so often that fix a
lot of bugs at one time (as well as usually introduce new ones ;).

Jakarta looks like the winner of the bunch to me, next to Orion at this
time. Jakarta is based on the full J2EE ( I believe that is what I read )
and if its performance is close to Orion, could be a good choice over
Orion. However, I would think that if Orion doesnt go open source soon,
they might be better off getting VC firms to back them, hire some more
developers and start getting more work done. To my surprise, these two guys
have done some incredible amounts of work for only two programmers! To have
the fastest (so the benchmarks say thus far) and most up to date App Server
in a PRE 1.0 state blows my mind. Unless..maybe this stuff is really easy? ;)
