hi,

what concrete optimizations are performed to reduce db roundtrips for
cmp entity beans (like caching of finder results etc.) if you tell orion
that an entity bean has exclusive (write) access to the underlying db
tables through the <exclusive-write-access> option?

are there plans to extend the cmp facilities in a way that one can
optionally specify queries and sequences of updates, stored procedures,
whatever, so that an entity bean can span multiple tables? I think
valto's ejipt does this. Shouldn't be to difficult to implement that
option. the only problem I see, is that there are more things a
developer can screw up on but it would give people, who know what they
are doing a lot more flexibility. any comments?
