Hi, Thanks to everyone who replied to my call for help! The news app is now running [mostly] successfully. The main cause of my problem was my hSql.jar was incorrectly packaged [duh!] - the classes all need to be in a hSql dir in the .jar [of course]. A note for anyone else doing this - the quick setup notes "\orion\demo\news-app\setup.txt" dont mention the need to add/enable users in the principles.xml to get past the login screen - easy to figure out though. A bug report [maybe?] The news app login/add news/search/view detail all work fine - the edit fails with a 500 - Internal Server Error.
