As you said..I notice too that "inside" code, when using forward or include,
you DONT pre-pend the context path. But, in the JSP pages themselves, I do
have to put the /context_path/page.jsp. From this i can assume that when the
page is sent back to the browser, and the browser submits a form or page
request, the server is NOT aware of the context when the request comes
in..and thus needs this info..that is why you supply it on links and forms.
However, inside the code, it already knows the context it is in..since
inside the code the request now contains this information (because you
supplied it on a link or form action). Thus, all code redirects and forwards
automatically handle this. What would be nice..is if someone (possibly from
Orion team) could say..is this done by Orion..does it pre-pend the context
for us? Or is there some other magic going on we don't know about?
