protect pages

Hi all,     does smdy know how to protect (with SSL) only part of pages in a web app? I only want to protect the "signin" page in the Java Pet Store Demo. Did smdy manage to use CONFIDENTIAL in <user-data-constraint> element of the web.xml?   Thanks in advance, Egor.
