I've almost convinced my company to go with Orion as our choice of application server (vs Dynamo, which is horrific). Now, the intended hardware is a bunch of IBM servers, dual pentium's with 1gb of ram, with an F5 load balancer in front. Has anyone experienced any issues with scalability given this hardware? The main concern voiced against Orion is that it isn't a big reliable company that can be held accountable, so I'm concerned on the level of support available. Has anyone had any negative experience here?
Also, in terms of OS choice, is anyone happily running a high load site under linux?
