I assume you mean (Apache+Tomcat+JBoss) vs. Orion? If you only need a
webserver, I would also go for Apache, but you mention IIS+MTS indicating
you need the application server.

We made the switch fra Apache+Tomcat+JBoss to Orion, because espcially JBoss
is programmed very optimistic, handling many errors as exception without
telling anything about the root of the problem. Also Tomcat has crashed a
couple of times.

My advise would be: If you know J2EE, go for Orion. Otherwise learn about
J2EE and go for Orion :-)

Subject: Orion or Apache?

> I'm wondering if anyone has used Apache and why you're now using Orion. I
ask this because I'm having a tough time finding the information I need to
get my JSP's working with Orion. I downloaded Apache and so far, there sure
is allot more documentation, not to mention it's free.

www.orionserver.com. In comparison, I've found over 20 books on Apache and
multiple web sites offering information.

alternative to using Microsoft IIS & MTS. If I run into a problem, I don't
want to worry if I'll be able to find the answer. Thank you.
