VA Linux FullOn 2x2 (dual PIII 700's) w/ 1 gig RAM.

No

"Substantial" - I know that's a speculative answer ;) but noone will really
be able to do any better. Peak load is probably 5-10 hits per second - this
is probably a more important measure than overall traffic IMHO.

Perfect, we've never had any problems with the OS or the DB (Sybase
11.0.3.3). Our only problem now is twofold:
1) Finding a way for Orion effectively to run as something other than root.

2) (Probably more important IMHO) A good script to monitor that Orion is
running, notify of any failures and restart Orion. We have a cludgey perl
script to do this at the moment, I think it was from this list, but I'd
really like to see a 'proper' script to do this - surely others must need
it? JVM's are by no means impervious to crashing!
