What makes you so sure Orion will be sold? If people keep buying licenses at
$1500 a pop and the company remains small, they can make more money that way
(if you estimate 10s of thousands of licneses) than they can by being bought
out..unless they do some sort of stock exchange, cash, and still make money
off of licenses. It is very possible I guess that if someone did buy them
out..they may sell Orion for a lot more per cpu, and give the Orion team 2x
as much per license sold as they make now..thus, the Orion team makes money,
the product goes on and the company that bought them makes a lot of money.
;) Shoot..I'd probably sell if someone told me we'll give you 2x more than
what you make now, plus $100mil in cash up front. :)
