Hi,
I think that the JAVA string serialization problem, was fixed in JDK 1.3.
Still i can't pass strings larger than 64k using orion (EJB to client).
I did not have this problem with other application servers (JBoss, JRun) !!!.
Can anybody solve this strange mystery ?

the problem is not ORMI, but the standard Java serialization, see my

Ok, the problem occurs only when i try to sent a very long String object.
But, when i send the same string as a StringBuffer object there is no
problem and i don't get the client side exception !
What is the problem when sending long string using ORMI ?
