RE: Tools.jar File

Main reason is to compile your jsp files.  tools.jar contains all the classes for javac, java etc.  If you want to compile your jsp pages you need to have this tools.jar in the classpath.

I'm new to the Orion Server. What is the purpose of copying the tools.jar file from my jdk1.3.0_02\lib directory into the d:\orion directory?
