run 'java -X' from a command line to see options:   java -Xms###m set mininum heap size to ### megabytes java -Xmx###m sets maximum heap size to ### megabytes   there are lots of other cool features for optimizing your jvm. PROBLEM It's a little bit strange... I'm implementing security on my application and customizing my xml descriptors.
