Reinaldo,

I think that I can appreciate the point behind your research after receiving
the phone call that I received from someone in the general public Monday.
The caller was interested in finding out if I thought there were Essenes
still around (he'd heard of some in California), and indicated that he had
received a dream prior to 9/11 warning of the events on that date, but had
said nothing. While repeated efforts on my part to suggest that, from what
we can gather historically, the ancient Essenes did not survive the Roman
War were ignored, it does seem to me that there is some value in producing
scholarly evaluations of the material you're working on.

TO THE ORION PANEL,

It seems that my previous note on E. B. Szekely was
not clear enough. I have been working on his claims
for the "Gospels of Peace". So far I have found NO
EVIDENCE to support his claims. Also most of his CV
leaks badly. I attempted to follow his steps and found
amazing contradictions, dead-end roads and slippery
tracks. I believe the man concocted the entire
package, besides many other unconfirmed claims (Monte
Casino Plinius MSS, for instance). I'd appreciate any
other bit I may add to finally demolish his wobbling
"ancient Essene" building. Also I'm interested in
publishing such piece. Any tips?
