Rochelle Altman said, 'Person' as "star" is an ancient and an obvious metaphor/simile where star means: mentor, teacher, guide, guiding light, counselor, ancestor, light of X, etc. The only "afterlife" it refers to is that a person lives on after death in his/her teaching, etc., etc., and/or in his descendants. It has nothing to do with "resurrection." Very good. I thought it sounded like a passage in Daniel where he says, "and those who have understanding shall shine like stars in the firmament."
