http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21660 '$' anchor matching '\n' character. Summary: '$' anchor matching '\n' character. Product: ORO Version: 2.0.7 Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: Main AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I don't believe '$' should be matching the '\n' character at the end of the string. Shouldn't the anchor be matching the logical end of the string? I used the following code in a JUnit test and the test passed: String testString = "blahblah\n"; String testRegex = "/^(blah){2}$/"; Perl5Util perl = new Perl5Util(); assertTrue(perl.match(testRegex, testString)); --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
