I just added MAC File support to CVS. Now in the Setup Networking Panel you
can Load a file of MAC addresses. The file format is one MAC per line.=20
Comments are allowed in the file as well (lines starting with #). The MAC
addresses will be added to the panel in the same order they were in the
file.
While I was at it I also added a "Save to File" button. I figured that
during testing this would probably be valuable. It will save all the MACs
collected (the ones assigned and unassigned) to a file of a format
compatible for load.
The load/save code has been tested, and works fine for me on Mandrake 8.2.
While I was at it I also made a code optimization, as ifconfig was being
called every time a mac was added to see if it matched the server mac
addresses. This is now called once when the window is opened (figuring that
you won't change MAC addresses on your server while the window is open).
