All MACs are saved at this point. If you want to export/import assignments
to the SIS database, that would be different. We are just saving state of
that Window. We should probably have a "Remove MAC" button on the interface
for completeness, but the interface is now 10 or 11 buttons, and adding more
just doesn't seem sensible right now.

True. This is a bug with the fact that assigned MACS aren't in the global
hash. This is fixed in CVS now. The lack of these MACS in the global hash
was an oversite from before, but this is the first time it would have been a
problem.
