I tested with 2.2b2 with the newest LAM RPMs (we had compiled against RH
7.3, not 7.2; sorry...) on RH 7.3 in vmware.
I ran into three problems:
1. The rsyncd still doesn't start. This is a known SIS problem. We
either have to get a new RPM or retroactively apply a patch somewhere in
the OSCAR glue at run time. I consider this a showstopper.
2. The font for "Remove" and "Remove all" in the networking window was
*tiny*! Almost unreadable.
3. Somewhere along the way, the networking window killed my background
ping. I didn't notice this until after the fact -- when more MAC's didn't
appear in my window. I looked in the output and say "killed background
ping". My button still said "Stop collecting", so I *definitely* did not
manually stop it. I consider this a showstopper as well. It seemed to
have to do with the restarting of DHCP. Here's the output from my
oscarinstall.log (my comments are ^^^^^^^^^).

I thought we already had a bug open for #1, but I guess not (not in
OSCAR, anyway). I'll open bugs for all three.
