Hey,
Well it seems that the general feeling was to go w/ 2.2 instead of 2.1.1.
So, the candidate beta, 2.2b6, has been cut for 24hr burn in and is
available from ORNL at,
http://www.csm.ornl.gov/~naughton/oscar/
This includes the doc updates (minus all things ia64) and various bug fixes.
This release will not be labeled as supporting ia64, see list posting for
details if you desire. The ia64 support may come in a 2.2.1 or possibly
just 2.3, regardless it will return but for now CVS needs to open back up
so we need to release.
The final Mandrake commits related the the Mandrake 8.2 rpmlist are the
primary things that need to be confirmed/sanity checked, i.e. reason for
24hr burnin.
Assuming all goes well with the MDK8.2 tests, this will be 2.2final.
