One clarification that I wanted to throw into the mix...
I *only* wrote the readline stuff first simply because I was already
familiar with readline. It was therefore a simple target (for me) to
tackle while working on the initial abstractions and whatnot for MetaMenu.
I do not mean to imply at all that OSCAR's interface *needs* to have a
readline-based interface. So readline is not a requirement (at least, not
of mine) -- it was just convenient to develop with.
