1) No more cron configuration
2) No image updating
3) Always syncs - no checking for changes
4) Forces getent usage (not so much of a problem, but it is more overhead)
5) You inserted the switcher.ini file into the sync_users.conf, which should only be inserted by the switcher API scripts.
If you'd like I can resolve these issues, unless you have some reason why these changes should have been made. Most of these changes are deeply against what the OSCAR group (as a whole) had agreed upon when I initially made the new sync_users.
