Can you be a little clearer?  What message are you getting, exactly?

Are you using RedHat 9?  If so, be aware that no released version of OSCAR
supports RedHat 9 yet -- this bug report is for the development version of
OSCAR (i.e., it hasn't been released yet).

Initial Comment:
On RedHat 9, I get the following errors.
The /opt/modules line is something I'm seeing
everywhere, but there seems to be a problem
with /etc/init.d/ntpd.

This appears to be a problem with the modulescmd binary
(which is part of switcher).  It may need to be recompiled
until RH9.
