RH AS 2.1 & RH7.1 do not have python2 and certain other
distros have the binary name as simply "python" instead
of python2.
Currently, the RPMS to patch this are housed in C3's
RPMS area for historical reasons. They should be
seperated out into a package of their own and added to
the list of server packages installed to support the
core package (namely C3).
Also, the RPMS themselves have a DB3 dependency that
causes problems. See the copy/paste of Jason's post
regarding this issue:

libdb-3.1.so is needed by python2-2.1.1-1
the db3 RPM in AS2.1, gives the following provides:

/tftpboot/rpm/db3-3.3.11-5.i386.rpm
libdb-3.3.so
libdb_cxx-3.3.so
db3 = 3.3.11-5

RH 7.1 is irrelevant (and has been for a long time). RH 7.2
does have "python2". RHAS 2.1 does not have python 2.
Therefore, this is only relevant for RHAS.
