You can always fire up opd manually:
./opd --repository URI
Hence, you don't have to be listed on the main SF repository listing. Do an "./opd --help" to see the full list of command line options (you can even override the SF main repository listing with the --master command line switch, for example).
I don't know, but I'm guessing that there's an easy way to make OPDer use these flags.

Just a side note saying it probably is a good idea to put a robots.txt file in the main repository path to tell the bots not to index the repository in search engines...
Cheers,
Bernard

First, go to:
http://oscar.sourceforge.net/repository/oscar_repositories.xml
Like I said, you have to get somebody with write access to this file to add your URL here.
Then, go to any of the URLs listed there. For example:
http://sponge.ncsa.uiuc.edu/ftp/oscar/repository/oscar_packages.xml
This is a fairly full example file.
Terry Fleury [EMAIL PROTECTED]
should work. And an 'oscar_packages.xml' file looks like? I'm quite happy for an RTFM with the appropriate pointer... ;-)

Hi Dave:
You need to have a oscar_packages.xml file in the root of thewhich tells OPD what packages you have in the repository - then simply point the 'Additional OPD Repositories' to the URL and it
You can point your browser to any of the repositories to check out what the 'tree' looks like.
Cheers,
Bernard

How do I set up an OPD?
I created a directory, dumped the files in, and can see the filesDeveloper
switchMozilla. Sadly, the OSCAR Package Downloader does see the files.
Is there some manner of index file or something?
BTW, when the "Additional OPD Repositories" dialog is up, I can'tthe KDE desktop. Clicking on any alternate desktop icon flashes the desktop, returns to the original desktop containing the omnipotent dialog and tries to do an update...
