You should be able to to set the LANG environment variable manually and
then run things. If you want us/english, under bash type something like:
root# export LANG=en_US
Not sure if there is also a "LANGUAGE" env. variable but probably wouldn't
hurt if it was set as well.

This is b/c the stock oscar-3.0 didn't fully support MDK9.2. Benoit des
Ligneris (on this list) would know the details on that.
I'm not a Mandrake user so I can't tell you if MDK9.0 rpm would work under
MDK9.2, but I doubt it. However, the source rpms (SRPMS) are included for
most packages (i know PVM has them) and you should be able to rebuild them
from the pvm/SRPMS/*.src.rpm. Then you can just put them in a
pvm/distro/mdk92/ directory.
If you run into problems rebuilding the PVM rpm let me know.

See above for details if this is a PVM issue, otherwise probably just the
fact that the RPMS in oscar-3.0 were not built for MDK9.2.
