In my test from SVN just now (Rev 2611) I got the following error from the
disable-services package:
--> About to run /opt/oscar/packages/disable-services/scripts/post_install
for disable-services
ERROR- There is no rpm for a mailing service
Some of the post install scripts failed, please check your logs for more
info at ./post_install line 48
--> Step 7: Failed to properly complete the cluster install; please check
the logs
Which seems to be because this system RH9 didn't have sendmail, postfix, or
exim...the ERROR msg is from hitting the "*)" entry in the case statement.
102 echo "WARNING: There will be no mail service running on the
client nodes!"
103 ;;
104 *) echo "ERROR- There is no rpm for a mailing service"
105 ;;
106 esac
I did a default install so I, IMHO, Ishould not have hit this problem. :)
What needs to be fixed for this to work out of the box on RH9, etc.
