Category: Installation Group: 1.5 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Submitted By: Jeremy Enos (jenos) Assigned to: Brian Elliott Finley (brianfinley) Summary: SIS - no /dev/cdrom detection? Initial Comment: I've received some complaints that SIS does not detect /dev/cdrom on it's clients. Shouldn't it do this as part of installing an OS? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Benoit des Ligneris (bligneri) Date: 2004-11-22 20:21 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=179120 This is a SIS problem. It can become a doc bug if we want to add this feature. Anyway, when /dev/cdrom is /dev/hd[a-z] this is working properly. Otherwise, it can easily be added later on with c3 or by customizing the installation script of SIS. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Sean Dague (sdague) Date: 2002-11-18 16:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=21949 Please add this as a feature request in the System Configuratior tracker (http://sf.net/projects/systemconfig).
