You can check the status and start up the daemon by running:

/etc/init.d/systemimager-server-rsyncd status
/etc/init.d/systemimager-server-rsyncd start

Usually this problem occurs when your /home directory on the client
nodes aren't properly mounted - this may not be the problem in your
case, though.
