Also note that (at least with FC2) when you perform a fresh install, it does ask you if you want to sync up with a ntp server - so if you have already configured ntp, ntpconfig by default will not overwrite your changes. (default behavior is to do nothing on the server side)

Hey guys:
 
I am going to start coding the new stuff into ntpconfig.  I think all ntpconfig should do is keep the cluster nodes' time in sync with the headnode.
 
By default, if you do not configure ntpconfig, that is what it is going to do.  If you do choose to configure it, you can choose a ntp server to sync up, we will suggest pool.ntp.org, etc.
 
Does this sound reasonable?
